Shingles
Herpes Zoster
Shingles is a skin rash caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox- the Varicella zoster virus. The herpes virus that causes shingles in not the same as the virus that causes HSV 1 or HSV 2.
Herpes zoster can be contagious through direct contact- especially to those who have not had chickenpox. Herpes zoster may affect any age group, but it is much more common in adults over 60 years old, in children who had chickenpox before the age of one year, and in individuals whose immune system is weakened.
The first symptom is pain or burning (usually severe). Red patches on the skin form, followed by small blisters that look very similar to early chickenpox. The blisters break, forming small ulcers that begin to dry and form crusts. A full outbreak lasts from one month up to as long as three months. The rash usually involves a narrow area from the spine around to the front of the belly area or chest. It may also involve face, eyes, mouth, neck, hands and ears.
Treatment
The following procedure will clear the outbreak in three to five days. Usually the pain subsides within a day.
Apply O2xygen Force rectally (colonic) twice daily for three days as follows: Dilute 12 drops of O2xygen Force to about 60 drops of distilled water- a 1 to 5 ratio. Apply a thin layer of DMSO on or near the outbreak area twice daily for three days or until clear.
Chances are you will never be bothered with shingles again.
Note: Do not follow this procedure if, in the rare instance, you also have HSV 1 or 2 unless you are willing to experience an outbreak of HSV 1 or 2. Since shingles is much more debilitating many choose to clear the shingles and treat the genital or cold sore outbreak with DMSO.
The outbreak of HSV is caused by detoxifying too quickly- rapid detoxification. |
